An International Cricket Council corruption Tribunal has announced its verdict on the spot-fixing scandal that rocked the cricket world in August 2010, handing down lengthy bans to the trio of Mohammad Asif, Mohommad Amir and Salman Butt.
Butt faces a 10-year ban while Asif and Amir are banned for 7 and 5 years respectively. Their cricketing careers seem to be almost certainly over barring the opportunity for an appeal is permitted by the ICC.
